Who are CB Dance Company
At CB Dance Company, we are proud to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students of all ages and abilities. Our classes focus on technique, performance and strength building while maintaining a fun environment.
Our mission is to build confidence and friendship through dance. As a dance school, we find it so important to teach our students the importance of supporting each other and fostering a supportive environment for all.
How did it all start?
We started as a small project for local dancers to come along and participate in a fundraising event in aid of Beatson Cancer Charity in 2023. The dancers came along for 6 weeks over the summer holidays to learn dances that they performed at the fundraising night. We raised a huge £1750 which was donated straight to Beatson Cancer Charity.
Due to the success of our fundraising event, Caitlin opened up CB Dance Company in September 2023. We were pleased to welcome some of our dancers from our summer project as well as some new faces.
What do you get up to?
In the last year along our dancers have participated in a variety of performance such as a music video, Barshaw Gala Day, Sma Shot Parade, Halloween Parade and more. Our dancers are currently working on our upcoming fundraising event to raise money for our dance school.
We love having something for our students to work towards but also find it important to build technique and an understanding of each style of dance.
